Can you also check your Media Library History... go to the Media Library Management dialog, edit your media lib and hen click on the "History" label name...maybe your history still contains too many entries...?

The history contains the correct number of entries (i.e. what I set it to - ¾ of the library's size).

Did some tests and found that it happens with a DB media library but not a folder media library.

And you get the same 'Test-Script' output (as you already posted) with a database based media lib ?

Yes, that test was performed using database based media libraries.

Ahh, you are using a database based media lib, that is new info to me ;-)

However, it should not matter, a database based media lib should behave in the same way.
Can you please confirm which exact version you are using, if you are NOT using the very latest v4.0.3.55 resp. .56 you might try these, if it makes any difference.

Now I see the issue with a database based media lib. An fix will be provided soon.
