Audio stream as trigger

Is there any way to monitor the audio of a stream, that Proppfrex then takes that audio to play (rebroadcast the stream) in stead of the automation, and resumes the autoplay when that stream stops?

Yes. This feature is called MODStream-Watcher and explained here:
