Yes, I guess so. But as you just have it already, why not giving it a try ;-)
You just need to define all the mappings for it's controls.

Is there any instructions for that?

So, i started my Akai MIDIMix and checked the buttons and they work
But the faiders are only able to send CC
i also checked Launch control XL and they send CC as well
Will propfrex work with CC
If i understand the german youtube video it will not?

I don't get your issue? CC shouldn't be fine! Most controllers use a ControlChange message with it's fades; please see the above post, in the example given I also use CC.

Ok your right
I have a related question
When i have the mionitor for midi open in proppfrexx and move the faders noting is registred but when i click the buttons the click is registred with for example

MSG: 0xB0 0x13 0x00 [Channel 0 ControlChange Controller=GeneralPurpose4, Value=0]
MSG: 0x90 0x03 0x7F [Channel 0 NoteOn Key=DSharp-2, Velocity=127]
CMD: Status = 0x90, Data1 = 0x03, Data2 = 0x007F
PLS_CURRENT_PLAYPAUSE_A
MSG: 0x80 0x03 0x7F [Channel 0 NoteOff Key=DSharp-2, Velocity=127]

Is that OK?

You mean when you move the fader, no Misi Message is received?!
No that is not normal.
Please consult the manual or vendor of the controller what message is send with the fader.
Also note, that some controllers can operate in different Midi modes - maybe you need to switch its mode?

Hello Bernd
Vielen dank für deine hilfe!
I got it working, well i got the faders working with you help.
So the problem was that, just as you said, when i moved the faders no midi message was received.
I checked the akai manual and found that there were no alternative modes and was about to give up.
I was actually about to look for a different controller when i read this post viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1663&p=8118&hilit=Novation#p8118

I So i tried unchecking the "AutopairMIDI message" 1 and 2
And it Worked!!!! The faders started to send MIDI message
Thanks alot for your patience and all your help i sure think the support is over the top in proppfrexx and that makes me planning for yet another upgrade if the software so i can start to VT.

Thanks again and i sure will be in touch.
Also as AKAI MIDImix is cheep i i'm thinking about crating a tutorial of what is needed and how to remote control proppfrexx

I just need to figure out how to do it myself ;-)

Thanks again!
