Adjusting silence detection time
Adjusting silence detection time
I am using silence detection on one output channel, on silence a command is sent to open an input fader, when sound returns, onnoise command closes the fader.
Silence detection occurs after 10 seconds and noise detection instantaneously. Where do I adjust the default settings for silence/noise detection? What I want to achieve is noise being present for several seconds before the onnoise command is sent.

Re: Adjusting silence detection time
You can find the Silence detection settings in the general settings, section Mixing/Fading.
However, you can only adjust the 'Silence for at least' time in seconds.
When noise is detected it will trigger the event always immediately.

Re: Adjusting silence detection time
Many thanks - it would be useful to be able to adjust the noise detection time. I'll submit it to the wish list for consideration.
