Streaming settings not updating without restart

Hi,

I noticed that the streaming settings are not updated if i don't restart PF.
For instance, modifying setting from AAC+ stream to mp3 is not applied.

I tried to kill the source on the Icecast server, but PF reconnect with the old settings.
The only way is to restart PF.

Best regards,

Fred

This is wrong!
You need to Stop the Streaming Server instance an then Start it again - this is of obviously needed, as any started server uses the same and consistent settings.
So NO restart of ProppFrexx is needed.

To be complete, the situation is about PF streaming to an external server.
I don't use the PF streaming server

I know, PF doesn’t even have a streaming server like you meant. But the PF configuration is called like that.
So we talk about the same!

In the Network Monitor window right-click on a streaming Server entry, select the Stop resp. Start option. That’s what I meant.

Sorry but that brings me to another issue...
Impossible to open the streaming monitor window. :-)

On screen I have the main playlist, main mixer and station logo.
Never checked before, but impossible to open any other windows.

Our setup looks like this :

It seems that the closed tabs can't be reopened ?!
Any idea ?

It can be! Except you have accidentally rearrange it, so that is not visible anymore!
Go to the general settings, section Look and Feel, click on the Reset: 'Layout' button - now you need to restart ProppFrexx (cloase it and reopen).

Or try to click on the 'View' ribbon tab and click on the 'Streaming Monitor' button - have you tried that?

In any case, no Bug to report...
