PF could deal with these specifics - theoretically.
But this would mean, that I would have to implement all these specifically just for ZXTune. This implement would violate all my other standards. As such, I am sorry, but I couldn’t handle this.
As said, PF supports the BASS Plugin system. I extended it to do that also for this format. But I cannot handle format specific code to deal with these sub tunes. I am really sorry. This is a limitation.

no need to be sorry. I fully understand this and I totally can live with it. Since I noticed that the SID-emulation is very basic with ZXTune (so many tune sound awfully wrong), I think I'll opt out on SIDs with its native format and go another route instead.

BTW: The META-Data file "thingymabob" works a treat. Just tested it and it's exactly what I need.

Just shipped a v4.2.6.9-beta, please check for Beta-Versions to update (see the top-right help menu underneath the '?' icon).
This version now also supports zxtune playback for the extra Tagger application.
