Track to track mixing using Playlist Template Wizzard.

Post by Cabzy »

Hi

I notice if I create a new script and let ProppFrexx auto select, fading and mixing from one track to another is perfect.
If I create a script using the Playlist Template Wizzard, fading and mixing from one track to another does not happen, each track plays until the end with no mix into the next track.
If there is a short gap at the end of one track or the start of another the listener hears a short burst of silence (Sounds unprofessional)

Is there a setting I've overlooked?

Thank You

Cabzy.

A playlist template uses the segue as defined in the playlist. Ie. that is fully manual. When defining, creating such a playlist you can select all tracks (CTRL+A) and then choose the (Re)Calc ACPD context menu item to let ProppFrexx calculate the segue (ACPD = Automatic Cue Point Detection).

When using a regular script to pitch tracks, the cue-points from that track are used. Ie. if no cue-points are existing yet, they are calculated on the fly.
