Hello,
A user in our company has come across an issue with ProppFrexx recently. The support ticket they wrote goes as follows;
Hello!

"Problem: Recently, it has been happening more and more often that there are skips or distortions in the recordings recorded in the ProppFrexx program on the x computer.
A smaller example in the attachment.
The phenomenon is not new, the machine has been restarted several times in between.
Maybe a hardware problem?
No matter how you look at it, it's a serious problem, considering that currently 6 hours of programs are recorded in this way every day."

(here's a wetransfer link to the audio clip they sent of their issue; https://we.tl/t-2ZVflyrQHr )

Any ideas on what the cause of this issue might be?
Thank you for your time ^^

Sounds indeed like a hardware issue.
But what driver model are you using? WASAPI?
You can try to increase the recording buffer in the mixer input configuration settings (double click on the mixer name).
Or another driver model, eg. ASIO when available?

And how did you record the sample? Eg. did you click on the REC button of that mixer channel? If yes, this would confirm, that it is the input device/HW, as the REC button of the mixer input channel directly records the device input. Ie. if that is distorted as well, it is the device itself.
