Loop VT over incoming/outgoing song

Is there a way to use the loop sampler during automated playback for a specific amount of time or quantity of loops? e.g. play loop for 15 seconds or play loop 5 times

Here's what I'm trying to achieve...

I've created a playlist with voice tracking. Sometimes I'd like the voice track to play over the beginning or end of a looped section of the underlying song (so similar to the soundbed functionality). I have found that with voice tracking I can use the loop sampler to do this live but is there a way to do this for automated playback?

Does this require that I use control commands and if so, is there a working example I can perhaps edit for my use?

No. This feature (let a loop sampler loop a certain number of times or duration in an automated way) does not exist and is also not planned I am sorry!

I guess you need to pre-record or pre-generate such loops yourself and then use this as a soundbed.
