Auto Play doesn't resume after TOTH
Auto Play doesn't resume after TOTH
I have a playlist (script) that runs for 13 hours.
After the TOTH & news (overlay that suspends the running playlist) the playlist doesn't resume automaticaly; Auto Play starts "blinking" and I have to reset it to autoplay manually. What can be the reason? Thank You.

Re: Auto Play doesn't resume after TOTH
The default behavior (when you have set the ‚Suspend‘ option with an overlay) is, that the overlay automatically resumes the program once it is finished. I.e. it turns on AutoPlay again.
However, if the subsequent program‘s StartType is set to Manual or Auto - it might leave the AutoPlay mode off! As in this case the program is defined to start manually.
Could this be the case in your situation? I.e. a new program started at the same time has not set the AutoPlay to On at that time, so e.g. the StartType Auto will exactly 'remember' that state.
So resolve this, set the Start Type of the program to e.g. Soft.
Else you might have disabled AutoPlay yourself manually via a control-command somewhere else?!

No. Start is "soft".
Re: Auto Play doesn't resume after TOTH
Can you the send your configuration how your program(s) are defined and how the overlay(s) are defined... maybe screenshots of each.

Re: Auto Play doesn't resume after TOTH
That looks very strange indeed. To investigate what is going on and try to find a possible root cause, please
- activate the Debug Logging (in the More Stuff section)
- do this 5 minutes before the TOTH
- and deactivate it after the playlist stopped unexpected
The Debug Logging will write a file Debug….log (containing the date and time it was recorded) in the AppDataUser folder. Then please send me that file. Thanks.
And also post the ToTH and News script.
And make sure to use the latest version and that no control-commands deactivate AutoPlay.
