One mixer channel on certain hours?

Post by Bart ve »

Hi
Stupid question, maybe. Is it possible to define that in a schedule the incoming channel of a mixer is used between certain hours? So f.ex. start audio from channel 4 from 4 till 6? Ty. Bart

What do you mean by use an input mixer channel ?
Sure this is possible, as you define its use.

You can even define an input mixer channel as a program scheduler entry. Else, you can use and trigger any control-command at any time, eg. unmute a
Mixer input channel, pull a fader, switch the alternative routing etc. etc.

In the Program Editor (in the Script: combo box) you can select e.g. ">Input: MIC1" as an input.
In such case, >INPUT:
This entry identifies an Input-Mixer-Channel instead of a script name also using a 'Non-Scripting-Program'!
When used, the related Input-Mixer-Channel is unmuted and faded-in for the time this program is running and faded-out and muted back again once this program ends.
