Cutting the jingle in track insert mode

Hi Bernd, after the latest update, Propp is cutting off voice jingles inserted into the intro before the ramp. What could be causing this?

Nothing was changed in that respect.
Can you specify the issue in more details and maybe provide an example (sample files and a playlist) - as I seem to be not able to reproduce it.
How do you ‚insert‘ those jingles, what transition are you using.

Here is a small audio test I made using the End with Ramp Of Next Track transition. In the audio you first hear the jingle by itself and then the resuting track insert - as you can hear and also see below, nothing was cut off.

Make sure, that no NextTrack or CueOut cue-point might limit the playout of the jingle:

I traced that he was doing it during a voice jingle with a length of about 1s. Not for longer ones.
I'm sending the sample via storage, it couldn't be inserted directly here.

As explained above, can you please send me the original files...(not the cut off result, but the original input files - at least the short voice over file).

I just tested the same as above with a short (1 second) voice jingle and also had no issue. So maybe your mixing setting are strange or your jingle has a next/out cue-point set incorrectly.

Here is my problematic voice jingle. If I insert it into the intro of any track, it plays normally in the sequence editor, but onair it is cut off.

Thanks for the test file. As with this exact test file I could reproduce the issue.
It is related to an async read option within the audio lib I am using. I also reported the issue to the developer of the audio lib to fix.

To quickly fix the issue on your side without waiting for a new version, you can change the setting of the async read option in ProppFrexx.
Either disabling it or setting it to a value different to 64KB will solve the issue. I'll provide an update as soon as the audio lib is fixed.
