Re: Finding filename of current playing track using tcp command

As said, there is currently no direct macro. But you can create your own : In the Streaming.OnSongTitleChanged Event you can use the following command to store the last tracks filename: EXEC_VAR_SET lastfile|${filename} As this event is a track event you can use the ${filename} macro and store it’s...

Re: Finding filename of current playing track using tcp command

I am afraid, that there is currently no macro to retrieve the filename and path of the current playing track! Almost all meta data is available, but not the filename! Why is a filename needed to be exposed to external systems? I need to know if it’s a stream and if so the name of the stream connect...

Finding filename of current playing track using tcp command

I’m trying obtain via TCP the Filename of the current playing track so I can identify the stream name(http://ipAdsress/studioName) I tried using ping ${filename) but it’s blank. I can’t use meta data(cpltracknamecurrent, etc) as they show the current title and artist as sent via the stream. What com...

Re: Stop playlists opening up from scheduled script as container.

As said, LoadPlaylist doesn’t support wildcards, but macros. So, it can find dynamic playlist names, but they must follow a certain logic and naming convention. If you call this static names, then yes, this is true. Wildcards wouldn’t work with LoadPlaylist, as multiple matching playlist files coul...

Re: Stop playlists opening up from scheduled script as container.

First I don't fully understand your issue with the LoadFolder command - but however, yes, the LoadFolder mode always creates a container and yes, this is by design. The LoadPlaylist mode can also be used with macros, e.g. the LoadPlaylist might contain an entry like this: C:\Temp\${start_yyyy}${sta...

Re: Stop playlists opening up from scheduled script as container.

As a work around I've added "LoadPlaylist" using a static filename eg current_show_part1.pfp and current_show_part2.pfp and made a script that will copy and rename them so they are picked up.

Re: Stop playlists opening up from scheduled script as container.

ok, form some searching this is as designed, and should load playlists as a container. I could use loadplaylist, but the issue is that it does not offer the same flexibility as I can’t just point it to the AIR for a show folder (drive time/Monday/AIR/) as you can with LoadTrack, and find the current...

Stop playlists opening up from scheduled script as container.

I'm currently using "LoadFolder" in the script as some presenters record complete show as a .wav file, and others use voice tracking and save show as a playlist. It works, but the playlists are opened as a container in the player, but can causes issues for drive time shows as traffic would kick the ...

Re: Add URL history not removing.

I’ll take a look at some time, as this issue seems very very uncritical ;-) I agree it’s not operational critical, and not everyday one would need to clear out old URLs or even it as we do. We use the URL history as a quick way to enter remote studio links, and it got confusing for people with so m...
