ProppFrexx ONAIR quits with .NET Runtime error
Below are the two entries (Application error and .NET Runtime) it does not appear to have been caught in the error.log but only in the windows application logs with the second being more useful for debugging: Application Error: Faulting application name: ProppFrexx ONAIR.exe, version: 4.1.5.3, time ...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
This is what i can of course offer: an alert message or pop up which notifies the DJ about a change in the players. Sounds like a good idea. With the flexibility of ProppFrexx TCP interface it's really easy to add extra functionality like auto making a new playlist for requests or even loading them...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
If the ‘control room’ adds a track to the very top and saves the playlist AND the playlist wasn’t played yet, then the presenter is of course lost, if he doesn’t get any information! That’s why there is even a chat added to the control room window in ProppFrexx. I would say this is a stupid mistake...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
Yes, that is by design! As the meta data incl. the segue and cue-points of the remote entries might have been changed. As such, the cue-in position äs of the remote entries needs to be honored. So just to get this right for the poor presenters: If for example the presenter opens his Christmas playl...

Just tested it here - I now see what you mean and I guess this is not okay! I'll take a look what has changed since I last tested/implemented the feature. I've not fully tested this new version out yet, but here's what I've found different: It no longer ejects the currently loaded track when it upd...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
As you’re looking into the code may I also just add as mentioned before(and not sure why this is): Sometimes if a playlist is updated remotely it refreshes in the studio by what appears to be just by clicking to select tracks on the playlist. However, it’s hard to replicate. The other 2 as list in m...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
This is what I’ve seen in the following usage scenarios: 1.Presenter in studio opens playlist for their show. Remotely in the control room(or remote studio) changes are made and saved to the same playlist. Presenter in the studio tries to load first track and the result is: track does not load but i...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
Yes, it will always check the playlist once a track finishes. And when one track finishes, a next track is loaded. The playlist checking however can not be performed in between! Eg. It happens after the loading of the next track of course. I've just been testing this out, and found the following is...

Re: Update playlist when updated from a different computer without having to reopen the playlist
Just tested, and it updates the playlist after the current songs finishes. Could it also update when a track is loaded or will this add too much slow down?
