Version 3.0.11.27 is out!

What's New?
  • Backup/Restore options enhanced
  • Show/Restore window panels optimized
  • New Overlay 'Title Update' options added
  • Script-Line enhanced by Track-Insert Transition
  • Various other optimizations
  • Other smaller bug-fixes
  • stable
Backup/Restore options enhanced
The backup and restore functionality now allows you more precise options to define what config settings should be backed up resp. restored.

New Overlay 'Title Update' options added
The Overlay Scheduler entries now have more options to define the 'Title Update'.
None: now really supresses any title updates (instead of using the initial streaming server title)
The other new options are pretty self-explanatory.

Script-Line enhanced by Track-Insert Transition
The script-line track control-commands options now contain the possibility to define a script-line as a direct track-insert transition.
Beside the automatic track-insert transition (see Mixing-Settings per Media Type) this also allows an automated track-insert transition via scripts.

Just to recall what a Track-Insert Transition is:
An insert transition allows you to convert a playlist entry at runtime to a track insert event, being overlayed and played by either the previous and/or next playlist entry. This means that this entry will not longer be played out by its own, but as an insert event triggered by the the previous or next playlist entry. This is typically usefull for VoiceOvers, Drops or Jingles but might also be used for any other Segues or PSAs.

At runtime a playlist entry defined as a Insert-Transition will first appear as a regular playlist item (Special Element), but once it is due to be played (tried to be loaded into a DJ Player) and after successful transition it will be converted to a track insert event to either the previous or next playlist entry (depending on the transition mode selected; e.g. EndWithNextOfPreviousTrack or StartWithCueInOfNextTrack) - and as such it will disappear from the playlist at this time. By default any insert transition entry will have the SupressBacktiming option set, so that its duration is not considered in the scheduled time.

A Track-Insert Transition for a playlist entry can either be defined manually (see the 'Track-Settings' - 'Special Element...' in playlist menu/ribbon) or can be defined automatically (either as an automatic track-insert transition as defined in the mixing settings per media type or with the new option above for a script-line).
The automatic insert transition (as defined in the mixing settings per media type) will take place for all tracks of that media type (e.g. for all tracks of type 'DropIn') - whereas the new script-line option allows you to define it individually.
In any case an insert transition only takes place, if the defined maximum track length for transitions is not exceeded (see Mixing-Settings per Media Type)!

The optional 'Attenuation' parameter for a track-insert transition allows you to automatically attenuate the original track for the time the overlayed insert is being played.
Caution: The CuePoints of the original track must have been set prior to this, as ACDP (automatic cue point detection) might disrupt the volume curve calculated for the transition track!

Christmas
I wish all of you a merry x-mas, a happy holiday season and perfect jump start into 2013!
During the next 2 weeks we have almost closed our office - so please expect a delay for any support case or inquiry during that time.

I have 3.11.12 installed since reinstalling it today however, it won't update at startup or through manual check for updates.

How can I get updated to 3.11.27?

Thank you

Not sure what you have changed.
However, I guess the easiest way would be by simply installing the full version from the setup.

I traced the problem - it is an overaggressive bitdefender firewall - incidentally the same application was blocking general access to ProppFrexx website. It's browser add-in cloud detection even decides there is malware here for some reason. Bitdefender is the culprit - too many false positives.
