An exception was thrown by a TaskScheduler part 2

[AladnaFm]

Maybe we have the same propblem as Radio Aa en Hunze in the other topic on this bug forum.

This morning our system stopped, the following errors I captured.
The Overlay Player was loaded but completely freezed!!

This is the second time that the system stopped en freezes.
Seems like the problems begin with no getting the waveform.
We had never had this problem until the first time occurred last week and now this morning.

Yes that is exactly the same. it is an out of memory exception.

Note, that the debug looking doesn't gain any additional info with an out of memory exception and can savely be turned off.

What are you setting?
Are you using a MLS or local media libs?
What are your memory limits for the DJ PLayers?
What are your time limits for WaveForms?
Are you using any histories, what are the history count values?
Or have you may be set the Keep WaveForm with Playlist option?

We are not using the MLS but the local libs within proppfrexx

I've send some screens from our settings which is shown the rest of your setting questions.
Any changes needed?
My history count values for every catogory in the media lib are -1
If you can see on the screenshot Proppfrexx is not using extreme memory at the moment: 298MB.
I did not checked the memory use when the system freezed this morning.
So I will monitor for the next days what the memory is of ProppFrexx.

Edit: we are using the MLS now and we have cleared the intern library within proppfrexx.
So we try that also if that makes a difference

BTW what's the best history setting for the MLS? I have set them now at -1, is that good?

-1 is definitly wrong as that uses All track count as the History Setting.
Normaly you do not needd any media history at all so set this to 0 by default!

Also update to the latest 3.0.13.25

All other settings look okay.

The memory use at moment of crash was 567MB.
After restart it uses 207Mb and rising!

I've added a screenshot of the memory use.
It says it only has 104mb's left of free fysical memory! Maybe is this the problem??
Strange because it is using only 1.63GB of the 4 GB the system has.

I do not see any error, except your previous out of memory.

And yes if there are only 104 MB of phys. Memory left then this sounds like it it the problem.
So please investigate which other process uses up all the memory.
Since if PF only uses 500MB it could be the problem.

Dear Bernd,

I have kept track on our memory use but can't find the issue.
PF is the only program that uses the most memory --> 268MB as shown below in the screenshot.
But still the free memory space is a 0

Last night I created a virtual memory (shown below screenshot) and reboot windows and started everything again.

At that moment everything seems to be ok:
The free memory at that moment was about 2000mb! and there was 800mb in cache.
But this morning it was 0 again and 2700mb in cache!

I saw that the other user also had a similar problem with the free memory also at 0.
Could this be coincidence?

Have you clicked on show processes of all users?

There is no hidden memory within a process. But only hidden processes.

I've checked all running processes of all users and PF is on top with 300mb.
So all other processes uses less memory.
Also did a virusscan and a malware scan.
Both are clean and safe.

The free memory is now 35mb
The available memory is 2300mb
And about 2300 is in cache

Last shutdown of pf was last tuesday.
So it is going well for now.
I will keep monitor it.
