That's a bit strange. I just made a test here on 3 different PCs and all was fine - no problems.
So I am not sure, if I can fix something.
Did you maybe not gracefully shutdown the MLS?

Can you please check the file called "ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.medialibs", which is contained in the MLS's AppDataUser folder (e.g. C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer\4.0).

Does this (xml) file still contain 'MediaLibraries' entries? Or is the file eventually missing?
If yes, someone must have deleted it (ProppFrexx however for sure never deletes this file...)

See, if a .bak file exists...

Hi Bernd,

Can you please check the file called "ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.medialibs", which is contained in the MLS's AppDataUser folder (e.g. C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer\4.0).

Answer:

The file is there in the MlS's AppDataUser Folder is called:

C:\Users\Smittie FMONAIR\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer\4.0

Does this (xml) file still contain 'MediaLibraries' entries? Or is the file eventually missing?
If yes, someone must have deleted it (ProppFrexx however for sure never deletes this file...)

Answer:

I don't see a XML this is what I see in the Folder:

history
log
Error.txt
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.access
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.access.bak
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.accesstrack
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.accesstrack.bak
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.config.bak
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.entrystats
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.entrystats.bak
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.medialibs
ProppFrexx MediaLibraryServer.songhistory

Everything was fine before a run the update .12 is it possible to go to version 4.1.0.11?

You can try to recert back if you have a backup (see the Previos Version folder).
But please take a look inside the above mentioned file as explained. What is its content when you open it with a text editor (eg notepad)?
If it is corrupted a previous version would also fail to load it.

As said: did you gracefully shutdown the MLS when you did the update?

OR are the media libs in the MLS are all visible but 'just' show 0 tracks ?
In this case, have you tried to perform a 'Rescan' on the libs?

I did various more tests on several systems, and all is working as expected!
So unfortunately I must assume, that it is a local issue to your machine only...
I once had a customer who could also not save certain files on his hard disk...after some huge testing we figured out, that the hard disk's file system was corrupted (probably by a power outage a few weeks before)... a scan of the disk could luckily repair all defects and all was fine again.
So may be something similar applies to your disk?

Hi Bernd,

Everything working again,

But Only I have to fill in the media libraries the connections again in Proppfrexx.

If I select a folder and push reload or rescan it do nothing?
