A few day's ago, the .net framework and proppfrexx crashed.

It happends since a very long time. Maybe is the problem that I use an to old version of .net framework/older proppfrexx version? I want to update Proppfrexx tonight to the latest version. Which .net framework version do you advise me to use on an windows7 pro 64-bit system with Proppfrexx?

Look odd indeed, however, I have provided a v4.0.1.39-beta; which is almost the same as the official v4.0.1.38, but just includes various extra checks to prevent the issue from happening again...
So "Check for Beta-Versions..." to get the v4.0.1.39-beta

You can install the latest v4.6.2 .Net framework.

Can you also please send me your complete ProppFrexx "Error.log" file to take a look at!

After installing the 39-beta version and .net 4.6.2, and running proppfrexx an hour, It crashed. the error in the error.log:

At this point just go back to your previous version... which is backed up in the Previous Version folder...
Need to investigate, if this is an error somewhere in your system or in the UI lib I am using...

You might also rollback to the v4.6.1 .Net Framework and see, if the error disappears in your system.

Unfortunately I can not reproduce that error here - I tested the Explorer Window (in which the error occurred) heavily, but here all works fine.
Are you using UAC?
If yes, what Explorer Paths have you defined?
Does a reboot of the machine help (as sometimes this is needed, since Windows 10 doesn't tell you all the time anymore)?

Yesterdag around 23:00, i switched back to the v.0.1.32.
Just, at 12:59:56, I've got, during an overlay with no user logged in, the same crash as mentioned in my first post...

Switching to v4.0.1.39 might help, but that seems also impossible for you.
I don't know why, since various other users already did update and had no issues - so I am also lost at this point and it seems, that something more general is not okay in your setup - maybe?
I myself tested the .39 on 3 different PCs and had no issues at all.

You said, that no crash was happening since a very very long time - as such, something else must have been changed, causing the system to now crash frequently. Did you install anything else? A Windows update, system drivers ?
Did you reboot you machine already?

There is nothing changed on the machine. The only thing that is chsnged yesterday is the update of the .net framework. I've yesterday already reboot the machine. Mayby an system recovery to one week ago would help?
