Add less user rights for standard operator

Post by XTended »

Hi Bernd,

It would be great if standard operators have less user rights so they couldn't "try and play" with buttons and settings.
The only thing our standard operators may use in our situation are:

-Create a new empty playlist
-Toggle autoplay
-Play next use fading (red button)
-PFL
-Find track
-Explorer
-Cartwall I / II
-On Air Time
-Timecode

All other active buttons may become "grey".
Is it possible to add more possiblily for user rights?
Than Martijn and I (administrators) can close a lot of functions within PFOA.

You can adjust the user rights yourself...!?
What rights are missing ?

If possible the rights below in the GUI of the standard operator may become inactive (grey):

-LineIN feed
-Quick Monitor Player
-Mod Stream Watcher
-Mixer setup wizard
-User commands

So some new user interface controls within "Define User Profiles" for standard operator.
That would be great for Martijn and me (administrators) to end our "frustration" of "playing with the active buttons" for other reasons...

The following new UserRights have been added to v3.0.13.20:
- AllowLineInFeed
- AllowAdditionalTools
Furthermore the existing rights:
- AllowMODStreamChanges
- AllowSettingChanges
now apply to the Mixer-Setup-Wizard resp. the MODStreamWatcher button.
As such you should have all rights at hand to disable your above listed ribbon items.
