multiple soundcards latencies
multiple soundcards latencies
Hi Bernd,
when using multiple different soundcards, sometimes after a while some latnecies occurs on some audio inputs... the easiest way to correct this issue is to change he setting and revert back...
Is there a way to have a way to reset this audio track with a simple click???
Thanks.

Re: multiple soundcards latencies
Yes, you can right-click on the related Mixer-Channel and select the "Reset Full-Duplex" option (in case this is the mixer feeding its audio to another) or your can use the "Reset and Recreate" option to full reinitialize that mixer channel and its audio.
However, the issue which you face is related to unsynchronized clocks being used, which result in slight variations of the sample rate of the different sound cards being used. I.e. in professional environments a so called world clock is used to provide a fully synchronized clock/sample rate to all sound cards.
