Surround 5.1
Dear all,
I'm aware that ProppFrexx was designed for stereo operation and is a very neat product. But as most OS (Win, MacOS, Linux) are completely multichannel and surround capable these days - not to speak of the many mobile devices with virtualization of 5.1 for binaural playback over headphones - I wonder if there are possibilities (or workarounds) for working with 5.1 SURROUND or higher formats in ProppFrexx.
Question: Has anyone of you ever tried 5.1 or other surround formats with ProppFrexx or maybe found a workaround for doing so? Every good answer is highly appreciated!
Greetings, Karl

No. ProppFrexx is Stereo on the output side, as radio and all streaming services are also stereo.
It can of course play multi-channel audio, but those would be down-mixed to stereo on the output.
