Mixer Resize Possible

Post by RedPanda »

Excuse the crude cut and paste job on the screencap.

I would like to request to be able to shrink the mixers to something like this:

Image

As you see, my windows are a bit short, so I always only see a bit over half the mixers. This is bothersome since the view defaults to the top of the slider bar at the side. I feel its important to see the input names of the mixer but not so much the other buttons for DSP etc. So I'm wondering if its possible to put a collapse button or something so we can minimize that part of the mixer so we just see the volume adjustments. And if we need to access the less used other buttons, we just maximize the mixer and those buttons pop up to look like they do now.

Is this possible? To make it so like in the screenshot I edited?

As the mixer channel can not automatically resize, hide or show its content - it automatically displays scrollbars if its content is not fully visible.
This is be design and a common practice.
So there is not much to do about this...so if you want the mixer window to not display the scrollbars its height much high enough...

This is currently not possible - as all items (name, DSP buttons, pan/gain, SND/REC and fader) of a mixer channel must be visible.
It is currently not possible to hide or show any of these items dynamically or rearrange them.
