Hi,

Section 2.

I'll try and re-install this virtual machine in order to see if that will help.

Hi Bernd,

I included the User Rights and accentuated even the setting set for the playlist advanced options as you can see in the picture here above, VWS-Studio_1_-_Parallels_Desktop.jpg.

I just tested that here again and had no issue. So I can not reproduce your issue!
Note, that each time a playlist window is closed the layout is saved to the global, user-specific layout file.
And each time a playlist window is opened the last saved layout is restored.

So please try to follow these steps:
a) Login as User 'DJ'
b) close ALL open playlist windows
c) click on 'New' ... to open an empty playlist window
d) make your adjustments (add columns, re-order the columns, size the columns)!
e) close that playlist window!
f) click on 'New' again ... to open an empty playlist window
g) that playlist window should now be restored with the column arrangement made in d)
If not, please describe the difference you experience.

No, I mean the User Rights !
You can find them when logged in as the Admin: go to the general settings, section 'More Stuff' and then click on the 'User Profiles...' button.
Now select the resp. Profile of your 'DJ' user!
Make sure that User Profile has got the right 'Allow Playlist Advanced Options' enabled!
If that advanced playlist user right is not granted, the playlist layout will not be saved/changed by the user itself, but can only be changed by the Admin user by using the 'Copy Layout From...' option in the user settings.

Hi Bernd,

Done all these steps, at g) it comes back to the original layout as seen in c).
I think it's a local issue, the settings are ok, so I'll re-install PFOA to see what happens then. Looks like a not reproducible thing.

let you know what happens.

Regards,

Hi Bernd,

Did a re-install of PFOA, used the same settings as before and ta-da, it works like a charm. Don't know what was wrong, but, must be some strange hick-up. We'll just leave it :)
