Scheduling a stream
Scheduling a stream
Hi Bernd,
I am tasked with setting a stream to load into the playlist every Thursday night at 8pm and letting it play until 11.30pm. During this time the Overlay scheduler must prevent any ads from playing (that is easy though). The file has already been saved as a .asx file and is available in the explorer.
I feel fairly incompetent that I can't wrap my head around the process of doing this in the Scheduler.
Could you please give me a hand?
Thanks,
-Kalem

Re: Scheduling a stream
What do you mean by 'setting a stream to play'?
Do you mean a (remote) internet stream?
If yes, you could achieve this by e.g. using the MOD Stream Watcher, as explained here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=57
Another option is to use a simple Script containing a single 'LoadTrack' script line in which you specify either your .asx file or directly the http://... stream address to play.
For the rest you might use the standard Program Scheduler.

Thanks Bernd, I'll check it out and get post back if I've failed or succeeded.
