LineInFeed Recording
LineInFeed Recording
I want a lineInFeed recording each lasting one hour. As long as lineinfeed enabled. Is this possible?
Re: LineInFeed Recording
A LineInFeed of, for example 12 hours is divided into pieces of 1 hour.
Re: LineInFeed Recording
Each mixer channel has a so called AutoSensing function.
The related parameters can be defined in the general settings, section 'Encoding/Recording', see 'Recording time Limit.
When you now set the recording sensing mode to 'NewSession', a new recording session is created when the time limit is reached.
You can also set the sensing mode via the MIXER_INPUT_REC_AUTOSENSING_SET command (the time limit is always as defined in the general settings) - or make a right-click on the 'REC' button of the mixer channel.

Re: LineInFeed Recording
I do not get this to work.
What is wrong here.

Re: LineInFeed Recording
Set the 'other' (Manual Mixer Recording) 'Recording Time Limit' to 1:00:00.
And you might also need to specify your original MIXER_INPUT_REC_ON command.
Else, what exactly is not working?

Re: LineInFeed Recording
Yes.
You can simply use the related control commands (see the UserManual) to start or stop recording resp. to start/stop the LineInFeed.

Re: LineInFeed Recording
Only the Manual Mixer Recording is working fine.
If a test MIXER_INPUT_REC_AUTOSENSING_SET IN 1|NewSession this OK , but the recording does not start.
I use v3.0.15.14

Ok I found it.

Re: LineInFeed Recording
What do you want to use? The manual or automatic mixer recording?
Isn't the manual mixer recording not enough? And if that is working fine - all seems to be good!
An of course the manual recording only starts, when you manually start it, e.g. by clicking on the REC button OR via the MIXER_INPUT_REC_ON command - as written above.
The automatic mixer recording (as the name suggests) is automatic and is controlled via the mixer configuration settings, when the 'Auto Start Recording' option is enabled!
