Re: Program Start/End time macros
By default, when a program ends, a next one is started by the program scheduler, e.g. you need a subsequent program to be defined.
I guess, what you mix here are Events/Commands - these are NOT used to start programs!
For the things use are asking for you use the program scheduler (longer running, regular scripts are playlists etc.) and the overlay scheduler (short running, things on top, like Ads, News, Jingles, etc.)
In order to understand that concept I suggest looking at the tutorial videos here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1018
Mainly item 7.and 8.
If a program/script should always start with a 'Top-of-the-Hour and that is your 'PSA', that can also be solved by an initial script-line, which is not looped.
But the news feed url sounds sounds exactly like an overlay thing. Note, that also a small non-looped script can be used as an overlay to play multiple items.
