Campaign filter not working

Post by andrerotgans »

Dear Bernd,

First of all: I wish you a very nice, happy and healthy 2017!

I was working on some advert campaigns last Friday, and noticed something strange happening. When adding a campaign via the Dynamic Assignments, I used a filter to prevent spots being played overnight. Changed the 'from' time to 06:00 and left the 'to' time at the default 00:00. After I added the spots, I saw that PFOA did schedule spots in the time slot 00:00 - 06:00. See

However, when I changed the To Time (i.e 23.59), it did take into account my filter and only scheduled spots in 06.00 - 23.59 slots.
It looked a little bit like the filter is working only after you have changed the To Time to any other value than it's default?

I've checked it with several campaigns and on my site I can reproduce it. Can you check and see if it's a bug or maybe a local problem om my end?

Best regards,

André

Aha, ok, sorry, missed that one I guess. Sound logical, and no problem to change it to 23:59:59.

Thanks!

Yes, this is by design. You need to specify a From-Time which is smaller than the To-Time; else the times are swapped.
In your case (From=06:00:00, To=00:00:00) they will be swapped and only campaigns between 00:00:00 and 06:00:00 are scheduled.

So if you want to exclude to schedule campaigns between 00:00:00 and 06:00:00; please specify: From=06:00:00 and To=23:59:59
