Novation launchpad

I've purchased an Novation Launchpad. To make steering more comfortable. Already experimented with hotkey steering etc. The Novation felt as an solution. Even watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSXRfcW ... e=youtu.be.
None does really works.
I assigned butons in PF, does not work. The lauchpad demands its own commands.
Now i've checked Monitor 1 to see what happens, it shows this.
MSG: 0x90 0x0F 0x7F [Channel 0 NoteOn Key=DSharp-1, Velocity=127]
MSG: 0x90 0x0F 0x00 [Channel 0 NoteOff Key=DSharp-1, Velocity=0]

I guess this info can bring some help?

This makes it tricky, .. since i'm not an IT specialist.
Is there a way to use the pad for cardwall steering? If so, how to install or adjust that?

You should think that:)

Maybe this post will explain all your missing info:
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=22

However, it is bit of MIDi Basics required in order to perform the correct mapping.

Sometimes you need to disable the ‚Automatic Pair Midi message‘ option In order to get it working.
Some controller sometimes use a special Midi mode, which also needs to be toggled. But all that heavily depends on the interface of the Midi controller and I can of course not help and know all Midi controllers on the market.
So I guess you simply need to experiment a bit.

But I know, that a few user are also using the Novation Pad, so i am pretty sure it works fine.

To steer the cartel you simply need to map the Midi message to one of the CW1_*** resp. CW2_*** control-Commands.

Not sure what you want to achieve.
But the SELECT command just selects the cart.
Use the related PLAY command to start its playback.
See the user manual for a complete list of all control-commands with a description.

Stupid me, haaha. Fixed
Another question. Is it possible to change the colours during the time they are actual?

Maybe, as said, I don’t know all Midi devices.
But you can also send Midi messages to the device. But you need to know the codes to send and need to ask Novatis or its user manual.
