Fading out to ensure start time
Hi may I know if there's a way to fade out whatever is currently playing to ensure the next program starts on time? Eg. Last track of the program from 1-2pm is ending in 2 minutes but it's 1:59pm now. Can the song be faded out so the next program starts at 2pm? Fading out instead of an abrupt cut. Thanks
Re: Fading out to ensure start time
Yes. Just select the next program‘s start type to ‚Fixed‘ to ensure, that it will start exactly on time.
It will than fade out any currently playing track (eg from the previous program) automatically.
The fade-out time is by default determined by the current playing track‘s mixing settings (see general settings, section Mixing - Mixing per Media Type).
But you can also use a fixed fade-out time via a negative ‚Mixing Time‘ in the Program settings.
Click on the ‚?‘ icon at the very top right to get help about each parameter/option.
