Hi Bernd,

Is it possible to display the cover art of the current track playing in another window that could be displayed on a 2nd monitor so that if people are watching they can see what is playing? and if possible display the artist, track title, and year across the image as well .

Thanks
Kev

Yes, you might use the "Moderator/Track Information" window for that.

You can show/hide this window by clicking on the small moderator icon at the bottom-left of the playlist window (or press CTRL+T).
The window can positioned whereever you want and always restores at that position once closed.

If you want to show this window by default with each new playlist window, you might adjust your user settings:
- Click on the user icon at the top right of the main window (underneath the main title bar) and select "Change Settings..." (or press CTRL+F3).
In that user settings dialog check the 'Show Playlist Moderator Info' option.

Within the "Moderator/Track Information" you can make a few settings - just right-click into it and select any of:
- Previous Track Info Visible: adds a panel to the window showing the previous track info
- Next Track Info Visible: adds a panel to the window showing the next track info
- Lock To Current Playlist: locks the display to the currently playling playlist

Note: Instead of displaying the media entry related Moderator-Text (if avaialble and set), you might also display any external track or album related content here. To so you have several options:

a) Track/File related Info:
If a file is present within the tracks folder having the exact same filename plus one of the following extensions, it would load that document instead as an extended content.
- .txt (e.g. "MyAudioFile.mp3.txt")
- .rft (e.g. "MyAudioFile.mp3.rft")
- .html (e.g. "MyAudioFile.mp3.html")
- .docx (e.g. "MyAudioFile.mp3.docx")
- .odt (e.g. "MyAudioFile.mp3.odt")

b) Album related Info (only used, if no file was found under a):
If a file is present within the tracks folder having one of the following names, it would load that document instead as an extended content.
- "AlbumInfo.txt"
- "AlbumInfo.rtf"
- "AlbumInfo.docx"
- "AlbumInfo.odt"

c) Command driven updates:
In addition you might use the 'SET_TRACKINFO_TEXT <fielname>' control-command to explicitly load/show the given filename within the "Moderator/Track Information" window.

Brilliant, that very nearly exactly what I was trying to do :D :D

Is there any way of hiding the moderator text, making the cover art way bigger (full screen ?) and making the track info at the top of the screen bigger ?

Thanks
Kev

No, currently there is no option to adjust the internal layout/size of the moderator text or info text, cover art size etc.
However, you might click on the cover art picture to enlarge it - and click again to close that enlarged picture.
