Scheduling in other audio file help

Hi Bernd,

I am writing as I have hit a bit of a wall in regards to the program scheduler.
What I am trying to do is create a basic schedule for all shows to automatically allot a random station id or CSA between each song that the announcers put into their playlist.
At the station we are trying to change things up where the announcer only have to worry about the songs they choose.

Basically the playlist should look like this:

Song
ID
Song
CSA
Song
ID
Song
ID
Song
CSA

And then loops, there would be other things like pointers or announcements but you get the idea. I can schedule a programmed hour if no one is on air but trying to do it with user chosen songs seems to not click for me.

Could you help?

A script (like the one you outlined above) is only executed with a scheduled program, but not with manually added tracks

As such, if a moderator is manually adding tracks to a playlist it is assumed he/she knows what he/she is doing - no further action is taken.
As such the moderator itself would have to follow your given rule...

I am saying, that when a users manually adds tracks to a playlist you can never guarantee your above outlined sequence...
...that is a logical issue and not a limitation of ProppFrexx
So I am not sure about your exact use case....may be you can explain that with a bit more details...

I get these requests from our administration and sometimes official confirmation helps pass the idea that some things can't happen.
