Titel Event Konfiguration

Post by Djharzerroller »

Hello everyone at Laut.fm, I have to trigger an advertising trigger every half hour. I programmed this as a fixtime element. And it works very well with the Soft setting. The thread happens that the last seconds of the previous title are cut off and played after the advertisement. I set the event data from the trigger to 0 and set it to mixing full level, but don't fade in. And yet it happens again. It worked this morning. But not this afternoon

Do you have enabled in the overlay editor “Suspend program”.

We are not Laut.fm?!
Can you explain what exact you do at every half hour?
What is the trigger and what exactly do you do??
Are you sending a command? If yes, which?
Who plays the advert?
And what has this do with ProppFrexx?
As ProppFrexx wouldn’t cut a song and play its last second after some advert?

Can you explain in more details what exact you do at the FTE?! And how you or who plays the advert?!

The fixtime element is inserted in the normal playlist. It also works great. But because of the thread, the trigger signal comes too soon and cuts off a few seconds from the last track, the advertisement of Laut.fm runs and then the remaining seconds of the last track come before the next song comes

I know that you are not loud.fm and to avoid misunderstandings. I don't earn anything from it. I have a kind of MP3 from Laut.fm and have to send it once every 30 minutes according to the terms and conditions. then that triggers an advertising block for them. Or maybe not
But when the trigger is released. it cuts off the last second of the last song and plays it after the advertisement.
I guess it's because of the thread. As described above, I set the event data to 0 and saved it. And then set the title to read-only and Proppfrexx always enters the event data again

I don’t understand the full issue, as it sounds, that the MP3 which you received from them and play triggers laut.fm to do the overlay of the advert, ie. you are using laut.fm for streaming and laut.fm handles the advert play back.
This means laut.fm does the timing of the advert overlay and NOT ProppFrexx.
So you better ask laut.fm why they cut off the last second - even if I believe it is a timing issue due to the unknown buffering involved.

I switched off the automatic crossfade and now it works properly.

What Automatic Crossfades? That’s not a ProppFrexx option.
So it/was a laut.fm issue?!!!!
If yes, I wonder, why you call it a ‚thread‘ here?
