I lost all the configuration
I lost all the configuration
Hello,
My PC restarted and when I opened ProppFrexx all the configuration was gone.
Is there a way to import a previous back-up? I already did the scheduling for today, but I need to restore the Advertising Overlay configuration and all the data in Advert & News Management.
Thanks

Re: I lost all the configuration
Normally whenever any config file is written, a related .bak (backup file is created).
So please check you AppDataUser folder, eg.
%appdata%\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\4.0
You might rename these files and remove the .bak ending.
But a restart would not remove or damage any config files, as they are only written, if you change something.
So it sounds like a bigger system issue…

Re: I lost all the configuration
I did rename the file and still I don't see the previous configuration. I see that the last file modifications were made today, so it means there's no previous back-up?
I need to recover the overlay and advertising configuration.

Re: I lost all the configuration
The .bak is created each time you open the scheduler resp. close it, as at this time it is saved.
So opening/closing it again would overwrite the previous backup.
ProppFrexx does not maintain multiple backups.
If you did not back them up, I assume I cannot help. As I could not recover which is lost.
