Help with software

Post by davefrmn2019 »

Having a problem starting proppfrexx as it keeps shutting down. I think I had set the audio inputs incorrectly I even unstalled and reinstalled but didn't help.

Maybe you are using a deactivated license or the Demo version?
Else at least an error dialog should first be shown?
You might also look at the Windows Event log, if you have a system issue, which crashes the application?

But if you believe it is a mixer issue, please go to the ProppFrexx AppUserData folder (%appdata%\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\4.0)
And delete the file called „Default.mixer“ and than restart PFv4 again!

I am sorry, but please take a look at Google on how to open the Windows Explorer or also now named the File Explorer. This has nothing to do with ProppFrexx, but very basic Windows knowledge. See eg. here: https://www.howtogeek.com/693474/12-way ... ws-10/amp/

The ProppFrexx Error.log file can even be read using the Tools ribbon tab, see the ‚Show Log Files‘.

Yes, any of such folders are by default hidden in Windows, but only when you navigate manually to the location.
When you specify the location directly you see it, as shown in the screenshot.
