I do not know what you mean? and what a 'record' is for you?
Can you explain your question with a little more details?
However, an Overlay is a separate entry in the dedicated Overlay Scheduler. As such, an Overlay can NOT be an Intro or Sweeper of a playlist track (if you mean that with 'record').
But you can specify other tracks to be an Intro or Sweeper of a playlist track!
