External mixer off during night hours

Post by Bart ve »

Hi.
Maybe a technically stupid question, but I'll give it a shot.
I’d like to switch off my external mixer (Airlite) during the night. My station runs 24/7. All players and output are routed via the usb channels of the D&R Airlite. So there isn’t any output when I cut of the Airlite. Is there a solution for it without having to change the routing every night? Thankfully 😅. Bart

ProppFrexx supports an alternative routing, which you might for example use. But else, I am not sure, what you like to do?
When you route all your audio per default to the Airlite (which is then your audio device) - switch off the Airlite is like terminating those sound cards, which is not really recommended.

If you want to save energy (this is not much what you save) - or what is the reason for it?
