Overlapping Voice Tracks
Overlapping Voice Tracks
I recently found myself in the path of Hurricane Milton and aimed to provide regular local updates through my station. To accomplish this, I utilized AI to generate voice tracks and attempted to schedule them with Schedule Overlay. Unfortunately, it only allowed a few of the voice tracks to play. It may have been a history conflict although the folder was in an exception rule.
I then switched to the standard scheduling method, which worked, but I observed that when two voice tracks were played consecutively, the second track slightly overlapped with the end of the first one. Even though I designated the folder types as Talk, Emergency, etc., (It was not labeled music), the same issue persisted but I worked with it for the day.
What can I do to ensure that consecutive voice tracks play without overlapping?
Thanks

Re: Overlapping Voice Tracks
Have you excluded that media entry type (Talk, Emergency…) from the ACPD or have you defined the ACDP settings for that entry type with very tight cue point settings?
If the tracks already have cue-points while you record/voice-track them, you can also specify the options ClearAllCuePoints, SuppressACPD in the script-line options.
Else you can also manually adjust the Segue using the segue editor when you do your voice tracking.
But if you just throw in audios in a folder and want to let them play without any segue automatically, use the above mentioned options.
