AAC+ & Winamp
AAC+ & Winamp
Is it still the case that Winamp is required to use AAC+ for streaming?
I am trying to setup Icecast streaming using AAC+.
Winamp is installed, the required executable is available in the "Encoders" folder, I have restarted the PC, restarted PF yet I am still presented with "The selected encoder is not available! Make sure the encoder is propperly installed!".
Please can you give me a hint as to how the encoder should be installed? Does Winamp need to be installed to a particular location? Should I specify the path to the encoder?

Re: AAC+ & Winamp
In the current version yes. That check will be removed in the next version.
You can eg. download the old Winamp version from here:
