Switch Audio Channels
Switch Audio Channels
Hi Bernd!
Does exist any way to switch the audio routing on an overlay player between different signals?
For Example: I have 2 output audio channels, and I've got 2 followed overlays, so, I want that overlay n.1 play the adverts via audio channel 1 and then the next overlay (n.2) play the adverts via audio channel 2.
Does exists any command to make this possible? (SND command is not an option because each audio channel goes by different ways, neither play it as playlist inster because I have a fix element at same time, so I need 2 overlays played by overlay player, but each one in different soundcards, that's the reason why I need to switch the audio routing)
Thanks!!

Re: Switch Audio Channels
Yes, you can use the MAIN_ROUTE_xxx control-commands, i.e. for the Overlay Player that would be: MAIN_ROUTE_OVERLAY_SET
If you do not combine parallel overlays, you might use the Overlay event "On Overlay Shown" resp. "On Overlay Played" event to trigger that command.
