That's really a bit strange.
What do you mean by ProppFrexx does not see the USB devices...do you mean the combobox in the USB-Registration dialog is 'empty'?

Yes. I always restarted PF in order to have connected USB before starting PF but nothing appeared in combobox. I am now going to try it on another PC with WinXP.

Success. Another PC sees every USB key I sticked in. Strange. I have HP notebook which does not see ny USB through registration dialog but Asus notebook does see all USB keys. Hopefully users will not have this problem. But I will see. :-)

Normally not, but some USB devices generate a different (virtual) SerialNumber depending on the OS.
That should be a rare case, but I have already seen this.

Note, that you can also download a USB-Testing tool:
http://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/downl ... Tester.zip

This tool allows you to detect any possible errors and list all recognized USB-Devices.
Note:
- The USB-Device must have a valid ID, SerialNumber, Signature or Caption.
- The USB-Device must be a REMOVABLE USB-Device.
- The USB-Device must be FAT32 or NTFS formatted.
- The USB-Device must have a drive letter assined.

Also note, that you should check, that your USB-Device generates the same Ident-Number on different PCs.
