Sometimes after the TOTH, player B is twice loaded

Somtimes after the Top of the hour, pfoa loads player B twice, only the second player B is broadcasted, the first player B is silent, you can see it play but there is no sound so there are no two tracks playing at the same time.

Greetings,

Harm Jan

Please validate what version you are using! Is is the latest v4.2.1.0?
if not, please update and check again.
And please check, why always the 2nd entry in your playlist is invalid (it's duration is set to ??:??)!

Hi Bernd,

Yes, I use the latest version of pfoa, and I don't know why it's always the second track, it is a normal music track. This mornig it happend two times but now it runs well.

Please send me a related playlist together with the related audio tracks, when it happens again.
You can use:
Select All (Ctrl+A) -> right mouse click -> Sesection -> Copy to Folder

Okay, thank you.
I try to caption it when it happens.

Thanks so far.

Thanks for providing the files.
It at least is clear, why the 2nd entry never got resolved (the one with ??:??). This is simply because, the related file doesn’t exist :-) thanks to your screenshots. Your 2nd script-line uses macros and thus at certain days and times it seems, that no file in the folder of pre-recorded shows can be found.

I still can not reproduce your double loading issue, but I am still trying and searching.

Two more questions though, to probably reduce the options:
1. Does the issue only happen when you have a situation, where the 2nd cannot be resolved as in the example. Eg. if you modify your script and would remove the 2nd script-line is it than happening as well?

2. If you would reduce the number of playlist players from 4 to 3, does the issue still happen?

Hi Bernd,

Regarding your remark about the second entry in the playlist: we use that entry to let DJ's upload an entire program if they somehow don't want to be live on air. They upload a file with a fixed filename and PFOA will check in the second entry if that file is available.

If so, it will play that show. If not, that line will fail, it expects the DJ to go 'live', and PFOA will continue with all other entries in the playlist.

It's a quick-and-dirty way to let DJ's determine by themselves if they want to be live on air or not, without someone having to adjust the program schedule accordingly

As you requested I've reduced the players from 4 to 3, and tonight is happend again, the next thing I will do is remove the scriptline as discribed above, but I don't think that causes the problem because this line is there for a long time, and the problem started not so long ago.

Greeting,

Harm Jan

I see. I can still not reproduce the issue on my side, as I also tested with 3 players and also with an invalid playlist entry.
But I tested already with the latest v4.2.2.0.
Have you also already updated?
