problem with a playlist

Post by Bninane2020 »

Good evening,

is there a way to save cue points in proppfrexx after saving a playlist?
Because as soon as I open the playlist again, the cue points are not saved and I need them for three pieces of music in order to create a teaser.
thank you.

All Meta-Data (which includes the cue-points) are first stored in the playlist .pfp file. Are you maybe using a different playist format than '.pfp'?

Then you can store them in the audio file‘s TAG data or alternatively in an extra .pfmd file along side the audio file. The order/priority is by default exactly this (check, if you might have accidentally used the 'Meta Data has Priority' option in the general settings?):
- .pfp Playlist
- Audio TAG
- .pfmd File

Impossible to save Hook for 3 tracks in the playlist. When i save the playlist (pfp) and i open then, erase all the hooks each time.

I guess your problem is still, that some of the meta data is probably saved at different locations?!

Where is your hook data stored? In the .pfp playlist file or directly in the audio file?

This might be your problem?!

Eg. if you open a single track, eg. from the find window, or just add the track from the windows explorer to a new and empty playlist, you can open the TAG Editor to check, if it contains hook points.
If that is the case, the hook points are stored directly with the audio data.

Eg. deleting hook data only from a current playlist would not delete the meta data from the audio tag data.
But when using the TAG Data dialog (ALT+3) you can save any modifications back to the audios TAG data.
Are you doing that?!

Then you should see, where the hook data is coming from!
