Restart after modifications?

Hello. We faced a problem like this. After several modifications/changes regarding the content we use (advertising, news, ...) we observed that the program skiped an advertising overlay, even though it contained active campaigns. Also, after we restarted ProppFrexx we observed that everything turned to normal, the program being followed correctly. Is needed a restart of ProppFrexx after modifications? What should we do?

In ProppFrexx almost everything is cached in memory and not directly loaded from the configuration. This for good reason, so that you an better plan when you want to go live with certain changed. In addition and especially for the Advert/News management it might be important to only use (reload) the data when all is completed.
By default you must manually reload the Advert Storage Path within ProppFrexx ONAIR to take effect (see the 'Schedulers' button in the Scheduler ribbon tab).
In addition the Advert Storage Path is always reloaded once a day before midnight.
Or you click on the Sync button in the Advert Management to trigger it.
So NO, a reload of ProppFrexx is of course not needed, but when started, the Advert Storage Path id obviously loaded as well.
