Tag multiple files simultaneously in Tagger
Tag multiple files simultaneously in Tagger
Hello
Sorry for the very simple question (I'm new and learning the functionality).
Is it possible to edit metatags in bulk when using Tagger?
For example, when I select an album in Tagger and try to chinage the release date, only the first song selected in the album is updated, meaning I have to do the same for each song entry.
I have searched for a solution but to no avail.
Any guidance is much appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Tag multiple files simultaneously in Tagger
In the Tagger as well as in ProppFrexx ONAIR (when you enabled the Direct Edit mode), you can select multiple entries and then directly edit the value within the grid view, eg. you edit the value directly inside the related cell. The changed cell value will then be set for all selected rows.
When invoking the TAG edit dialog (ALT+3, only the respective focused entry is edited.

Thank you for the quick reply
For the sake of clarity and for anyone who, like me, may have been slightly confused, the Direct Edit mode is found in the MetaData ribbon under 'Direct Tag Editing'.
