Ok, so am I stupid?

Don't answer that!

After purchase and install, where is the full and complete User Manual?

All I can find is an older one that says 'under construction', and it's missing a lot of things. Even though the one on Radio42's site says as of July 2022.
I just need someone to point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance,

Rick

There is no more up to date user manual, as all recent information can be found here in the forum.
Here are the tutorial videos:
https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/foru ... php?t=1018

This user forum is a better source of information- just search in it…eg. here are some examples:
https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/foru ... c.php?t=11
Or
https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/foru ... c.php?t=10

Ok. I guess.
Are there any plans for a PDF to be available, or am I stuck going online to hunt for things? Is there an index? I have printed out the 300+ page manual, but I guess I'll have to print out forum text to fill in the blanks.

I just assumed there was an up-to-date manual as you had posted a date of July 2022 next to the download.

Ok, well sorry I didn't know. I don't mean to stir up problems but nothing is as it seems. I need someone to fill me in. When you spend bucks on Commercial software like this, there should be support and documentation to set it up. It's great software, but...

I'll go away and see where I can fill in the blanks.

There is plenty of support here. Eg. the extensive tutorial videos. The experience is, that most people don’t even read the manual and typing words doesn’t explain things better than a dedicated tutorial video.
Hence, the manual is kept up to date with all the macros and control-commands. But what you call ‚gaps and empty pages’ are conceptual ideas, which you can not write very well on paper. One reason, why modern and commercial products don’t even come with a printable manual.
In addition all options are explained online within the software itself. Eg. in each dialog, you can press on the ‚?‘ icon at the top right of each dialog to get all options explained. Sorry, if I call the manual still ‚under construction‘. I will remove these words with the above said:
- use the ‚?‘ at the top right of each dialog to get all options explained
- use the tutorial videos to get all concepts explained
- else, if you have a very specific questions, take a look to to the user forum or ask your questions here

This all is by far more effective than printing hundreds of pages…

Ok. I'm looking in the forum right now for RSS feeds. I'll keep looking. Also Voice Tracking, but one thing at a time.

VoiceTracking is explained here:
https://www.proppfrexx.radio42.com/foru ... c.php?p=81

RSS streams can be defined in the Control Room window panel. Just enter the RSS URL.

OK. I'll give that a try.
I only need to add my TOTH ID and it can go live after that.

Thanks.

Something's not right.

Yes, it's me again.

I noticed me CD players, all of a sudden, this morning had no track info, but were playing fine. I closed and restarted PF which got them back, but after I reloaded my tracklist and pushed autoplay, the first song started and got stuck in a loop. I'm going to reboot the PC now and see if that changes anything.
Also I tried putting my Top of the Hour into the scheduler as an overlay, and it will not play. There's nothing that shows me if the scheduler is running or not.

I'll let you know if a reboot brings it back.

Honestly I a bit lost… but let’s see when a reboot is done.
When the ‚Run Scheduler‘ button is pressed (it shows the green running icon). In that case, the next program etc. is shown. Also when you open the ‚Upcoming Overlays‘ popup (in the Scheduler ribbon), it shown the next upcoming overlays. This is not displayed/disabled when the scheduler is not running.

No, there's a problem.

It played the first 3 tracks and now it stopped. Player A and B are Cued, Player C is empty Nothing is playing.

The scheduler does nothing when pressing 'Run Scheduler'. I get - Current Program <unknown>, and Next Program <unknown>. There is no green icon. Why not simply display "Running" rather than a green icon? Which may or may not be seen?

I'm thinking it's time to un-install and re-install. What a pain in the ass.

It's an ASUS motherboard, i5-7400, 3GHz, 40G RAM, 64 bit, Windows 10 Pro Build 19042.1826.
