the search engine. how do i just browse

although the search engine is very good i don't see a way to just browse the library. is there one?

When you select a media lib, you can just enter * and press enter to select all entries of that lib.
But this is ‚only‘ available, when you also have selected one media lib. As else all search effects all libs.

that doesn't seem to work. am i doing it wrong? in the search engine i select the thrash librry. i go into the find box and press enter. nothing happens. is there a way to just browse everything in the library?

Yes, as said, after you selected one media lib, you need to enter a

asterisk didn't work but full stop did

Here, the asterisk is working - just tested it. What do you mean, by ‚full stop‘ is working?

i selected the prog rock libary, went to the search bar and pressed the asterisk, then enter. nothing happened. i thought i may have read the symbol wrong so typed full stop, and i got results
