DJ Players sends metadata to stream with MODStream player active

When the MODStream player is playing and the regular playlist is muted the metadata of the regular playlist is still send to the connected streaming servers.

Could this be a bug? And if it is not could it be possible to add an option to suppress this playlist metadata when the MODStream is active?

Thank you in advance!

No, when the playlist is playing (muting is actually happening in the mixer and not the playlist) the metadata is of course still updated with each song title change.
The same would also happen happen when the standby player is playing, or a line-in feed is active etc.

So what exactly do you want to achieve?

To stop the automatic song title update you could eg. change the song title format to a static text when you mute the playlist?

We are using a MODStream player to route audio from the studio to the non-stop instance when doing a live broadcast. The metadata of the studio is then send out to the connected clients using the MODStream player. But since the playlist continues to play when the MODStream player is active, the metadata of the DJ players is also broadcasted, even though those are not currently "active" and sending out audio.

We don't manually mute the players in the mixer, ProppFrexx does this when the MODStream player becomes active.

But you could with the MODStream Watcher command also tell the MODStream Player to stop the playlist (instead of just muting it).
Wouldn’t that be an option?

For anyone with similar issues, make sure to uncheck "Internet Stream" under System Settings > Streaming > Exclude from Title Updates. This solved our issues with metadata.
