Media Librart Config file
Media Librart Config file
Hi!
We made stupid mistake - restructuring our folder system before go to new system for as, without thinking about how it affects the PF program itself.
We have done quite a lot of scheduling work and now I discovered that "some" of the MediaLibrary's are broken, some are just empty.
We have folder based MediaLibrarie Database
In an earlier post on this forum, the reason was different but the situation was similar that the MediaLibrarie links were broken.
And there was in C:\Users\userx\AppData\Roaming\radio42\ProppFrexx ONAIR\4.0 file with MediaLibrarie config or something like that, but I don't find on my system something similar or something that could refer to the ML configuration.
What is solution for situation ?

Re: Media Librart Config file
The easiest way is to remove the broken links and recreate the media libraries using the exact same name.
In scripts etc. the names are actually used, so if you create the libs with the same name, nothing should be broken.

Re: Media Librart Config file
Yes, exact names as given in the scripts.
Note, that folder based libs often start with a / char.
Else, check the .medialibs resp. .cartlibs files.

Yes, I also referred to this same post in my original post, that I got the knowledge from there that I could somehow process ML directly, but I don't have the files You described in my system
Re: Media Librart Config file
If they are not present in your ProppFrexx AppUserData folder (as it looks like) and you are not using the -config or -globalconfig command-line option when starting ProppFrexx, these files must have been deleted.
As ProppFrexx never deletes any of such files, I can only assume, that someone else must have deleted these files.
