Archive "don't works" when pre-generating show
Re: Archive "don't works" when pre-generating show
yes I understand that there are two different options.
But two different approaches have emerged - is it somehow possible that one solution works for both.
that's what I'm talking about - in general, everything works and the program with a specific date is programmed into the calendar to start at a given time (let's say Friday ar 22:00 , but occasionally it happens that this hour is still generated manually because there is simply no program with the correct date.
but in any case, the same show will be repeated on Saturday at 18:00.
how would it be possible to program in such a way that you don't have to set the hour from 6 pm on Saturday yourself anyway, but that I can pre-program it

But the mentioned 'SaveScheduledPlaylistFile' program option does exactly this!
No matter if you schedule a (prepared) show or a manual playlist... the option saves a playlist what you have finally schedule by that program.
See here for details.

That internally generated playlist can be used in your repeated show - you can again use the already mentioned macros to reference the date and time.
The same is true with a real output recording. It records exactly what was played - a pre-generated or manual show.
Also that recording can be used for both scenarios.
So I am lost what exactly you are missing.
